If you want straight hair, here are some accessories to help.

Note:  They have hair straighteners that go up to $75, but you REALLY do not need to spend that much.  These are all good brands and will work fine.

I am getting my hair cut the first week of April and I need to find a good style.

I've been growing out my hair and while it's not this long, maybe I could get to this. I have to be careful bc I have a longer face and I don't want to elongate that.

Anyway, while this looks casual and easy, I'm sure it took the hairstylist some time if her hair isn't that wavy.

Chanel Paris Fashion Week - Fall/Winter 2011

Chanel's Fall Winter 2010/2011 Show was amazing, with the models walking on the runway alongside an iceberg. And it was not just any iceberg, Karl Lagerfeld imported a 265-ton iceberg from the northern reaches of Sweden to Paris' Grand Palais to creating an expensive and highly elaborate set especially for the show.

The theme of the collection was the global warming or ‘the global cooling’ as Karl Lagerfeld called it.

The other great thing about the show was, all the fur used the whole Autumn/Winter collection was faux, right down to those monstrous snow boots. We love when a designer spares animal cruelty.

We want to see Karl Lagerfield design a great non-leather accessories collection next.


Like always, the collection was amazing feminine and classy. Accessories were perfect. Jewelry was very similar to little pieces of ice, sparkling and mysterious.

If you have an oval face (or long face), it's harder to wear long hair as it makes your face look even longer.

The key to wearing long hair if you have an oval/long face is to have some sort of bangs and layers near the chin or cheekbones to break up the straightness from top of the head to bottom edge of the hair.

When there are layers near your chin, cheekbones and/or bangs, your eyes move upwards and make a more attractive style.

I know this because i have a long/oval face and always battle this when growing out my hair.
